WORKSHOP—How to Compost : 

The energy that the plants absorb from the sun, we give back to Mother Earth generously by means of composting…the finished composting then in turn generates healthy earth so we can plant new vegetables and fruits etc

We can grow plants again from the fertilized earth and the sun energizes their new growth…a true photosynthesis! 

Compostable material (vegetables, fruits, yard trimming etc) is the largest single item by weight in our garbage so by reducing the amount we MINIMIZE garbage and our landfill dumps. 

Compostable is an important way of reducing the amount of garbage we send to landfills everyday. We may even be violating the prohibition of: ba’al tashchit [do not destroy] if we do not practice composting.
